Selective, Double-Deep, Drive-In, VNA, Cantilever, Boltless and our Heavy-Duty V-series (V3000–V10000) — designed against your actual SKU mix, fabricated in our Singapore workshop, installed by our own crew. Pallet racking that survives contact with the forklift.
"The catalogue said 2,500 kg per level. The forklift driver said the second-from-top beam was bowing after week six."
Pallet racking is one of the most commoditised steel products in Singapore industry. Anyone with a forklift and a powder-coat oven calls themselves a racking supplier. What separates a system that lasts twenty years from one that bows in six months is not the catalogue rating — it is whether anyone bothered to calculate the actual worst-case load before signing off the spec.
We size racking against the heaviest pallet you actually run, not the average. We measure your slab's load-bearing capacity, not the gross floor weight allowance. We model your forklift's turning radius into the aisle width, rather than the published minimum. The result: warehouse racking that handles every shift of work you ask of it.
This page walks through every pallet racking system we install in Singapore — Selective, Double-Deep, Drive-In, VNA, Cantilever, Boltless, and the V-series Heavy-Duty range. Read what fits, then talk to us for a real survey.
Every warehouse has a different shape, a different SKU mix and a different operating tempo. We design across the full family of pallet racking systems — and we will tell you which one is wrong for your operation before we tell you what we would build.
The default pallet racking system for most Singapore warehouses. 100% pallet selectivity means every pallet is directly accessible from the aisle. Best for varied SKU operations with frequent picking — and the easiest system to reconfigure as your business changes.
Two-pallet-deep configuration. Cuts aisle count by half and lifts storage density 30–40% versus selective. Best when you have multiple pallets of the same SKU and reach trucks fitted with telescopic forks. Pallet velocity must be moderate — the back pallet is blocked by the front.
Last-in-first-out high-density bulk storage. Forklifts drive directly into the rack lanes for placement and retrieval. Best for bulk same-SKU storage — cold rooms, beverages, raw materials, paper rolls. Highest density per square metre of any pallet racking type.
Very Narrow Aisle racking paired with wire-guided or rail-guided VNA trucks. Aisle widths drop from 3.5–4.0 m to 1.6–1.8 m, lifting total pallet positions 40–50% versus selective. Requires SS DM2 flat-floor preparation and VNA truck procurement, but pays back capex through floor space recovery.
For long, awkward, oversized loads — pipes, timber, profiles, rolled steel, sheet metal. Single or double-sided configurations. Arms rated to the actual load case rather than a published maximum. Common in steel stockists, lumber yards, and metal fabrication facilities.
Rivet-lock boltless construction for carton picking, retail back-of-house, parts bins, archive storage. Hand-loadable shelves up to 200 kg/level. Powder-coated finish in standard sizes (900×300×1800 mm, 1200×450×1800 mm) or custom. Quick assembly without tools.
Our flagship pallet racking system uses a transparent naming convention: the number in the product name is the rated load per beam level in kilograms. V3000 = 3,000 kg/level. V8000 = 8,000 kg/level. No marketing fog — just the engineering number you would design to.
The most-installed pallet racking in our catalogue. Suits typical Singapore 3PL and FMCG pallet operations. Hot-rolled or heavy cold-rolled uprights with box-section beams.
For heavier pallets — drinks, raw materials, packaged FMCG over 1.5 t each — or where you want a single tier doubling up two pallet positions. Reinforced uprights.
Multi-pallet beam loads, machinery, drums. Hot-rolled members, seismic bracing on tall installations, base-plate fixings sized to actual slab capacity.
Oversized pallets, drums, raw steel, machinery components, automotive parts. Box-section beams up to 175×65 mm. Reinforced upright frames.
Steel coils, marine equipment, bulk machinery on engineered pallets. The 10,000 kg/level rating is design-verified per project. Reference installation at Gul Lane.
Start with the SKU mix. If you have many SKUs picked frequently, Selective is the right default. If you have multiple pallets of the same SKU and reach trucks, Double-Deep gives you 30–40% more density without changing the racking spec. If you have bulk same-SKU storage (beverages, cold-chain, paper rolls), Drive-In gives the highest density but accepts LIFO inventory.
Then the forklift fleet. Counterbalance forklifts need 3.5–4.0 m aisles. Reach trucks need 2.4–2.8 m. VNA trucks need 1.6–1.8 m but require flat-floor preparation. Don't pick a racking system that demands a forklift you don't have.
Then the load case. The catalogue rating tells you what the racking will hold under perfect conditions. The real-world rating is 70–80% of that to allow for impact damage, off-centre loading, and corrosion. We design to the real number — and tell you what the headroom is.
Then the slab. A 25 MPa slab takes typical Selective loads without complaint. Drive-In and VNA put higher point loads through the base plates — sometimes the slab needs reinforcement or thicker base plates. We check before quoting.
Then the future. Selective is the easiest to reconfigure. Drive-In is the hardest. Pick the system you can grow into.
Our project archive covers 3PL operators, F&B cold-chain, pharmaceutical warehouses, automotive parts and general industrial — across Singapore and our regional partners. Singapore-specific references available on request.
